WELCOME TO BLACK BEAR GOLF COURSE
Black Bear Golf Course offers a unique & distinctive Northern Michigan assortment of Scottish links-style holes blended with traditional tree-lined holes, that will inspire you to mark your calendars for your next golf vacation and years to follow.
Golfers of all abilities will find Black Bear has several tee box options from forward Red tees back to the Black tips at just under 6500 yards. The forward tees offer a real advantage as some of the blind tee shots are taken out of play. The middle Gold tees offer quite the challenge, yet easier tee box access and less elevation in spots. Most of our Guests score their best from the White tees at 5,814 yards. Pro’s Tip to lower score here is don’t putt downhill.
Our large green-scapes (we have enough for two golf courses) offer several pin locations offering back-to-back players a different look each time they play, and help reduce heavy foot traffic during busy times helping keep our greens in pristine condition! In case you’re wondering, our course record is only -4 under par 68.
